The Story Behind VetBilim

From grief came innovation.

The founding of VetBilim was preceded by a tragic event: Milo, the founder Erhan Tuban’s cat, passed away despite the best intentions and costly treatments. The cause was a misdiagnosis – a pattern was overlooked, a connection not recognized.

"How can we ensure that medical data, laboratory values, and symptoms are analyzed with such precision that no detail is lost?"

This question was the spark for VetBilim. A platform that combines advanced AI with veterinary expertise to eliminate the "blind spot" in diagnostics.

The Expert Network

VetBilim is not a "one-man show." We are a network of veterinarians, clinics, and AI experts. Every article and analysis undergoes a rigorous process based on evidence-based science.

Our Philosophy: The "First Domino Stone"

One thing is often missing in modern veterinary medicine: Time. We do not settle for merely addressing symptoms. We seek the root cause – the first domino.

Our approach is different:

  • Interdisciplinary: We conduct research at the doctoral level across more than 28 specialties (e.g., cardiology, nephrology).
  • Individualized: We take a closer look than a laboratory device. In veterinary medicine, there is often only the option "dog." But a dog is not just a dog. For example, a Greyhound has different blood values than a Labrador, such as in the WBC count. Until our system, the assessment relied solely on the veterinarian's experience. However, many veterinarians are not always familiar with these differences—there are simply too many dog breeds. These are important details that often get overlooked in the daily rush. Yet they are crucial for whether a disease is recognized, misinterpreted, or completely missed.
  • Evidence-based: Use of databases such as PubMed and current studies.
